KHK Instructor Reunion ‘07 Where time allows (this is volunteer work) we’ll put up before and after photos if you send them to us. Doug Rice Doug Rice-- Learned to fly with KHK in 1977, and taught from ‘78-‘80. Worked as rigger and production test pilot for Flight Designs in Salinas, CA in 1981. Taught at LMFP during 1983. Grandfather Mountain Team pilot during 1985. Moved to the Winston-Salem area and was actively involved flying at Sauratown Mt. until 2000. Came out of retirement and flew at Grandfather Mountain during to 2001 reunion. Started a photography business in 1990 and continues to work from home based studio in Winston-Salem NC. Married Xiao Yu in 2007--Life is great! Most Memorable Dune moment: Setting a Dune duration record of 3 hours 27 minutes in 1980. Then:  Now:
